Writing about myself should be easy. It isn't. The basics:

My name is Nadia Jewel Vito. I just graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Summa Cum Laude (which I recently learned is the best one). I also received a Minor in History and an emphasis in Contemporary Acting. 

I grew up in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey (it is really called that). I usually lie and say I'm from Long Beach Island, New Jersey because it is a much cooler place. Apparently, I have a slight Jersey Shore Accent which comes out when I am passionate about something (or caffeinated).

I began acting when I was 5 as a Munchkin in The Wizard Of Oz, and decided then that I would do nothing else for the rest of my life. Shortly after, I started auditioning in New York City, and was cast as Young Fiona in the National/International Tour of Shrek The Musical. I crossed cities I didn't know existed off my bucket list including (but not limited to) Hershey, Detroit, Schenectady, Worcester (don't ask me to pronounce those last two), Montreal, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai. It was the experience of a lifetime. 

Coming back to fourth grade in Little Egg was an odd adjustment, but I found solace in reading dystopian novels, cuddling my cat, writing my own stories, and of course, the stage. 

I graduated from Pinelands Regional High School in 2021 which was a terrible time to graduate high school. I played Morticia in a Mask while auditioning for 27 Musical Theatre College Programs. I am very happy with the one that I chose to attend. 

Boston was the perfect city for me to spend four years. I lived in spitting-distance from the Red Sox. I ate bagels in between Voice Lessons and Jazz Class, and learned 1) who I am and 2) bagels are better in New Jersey. I was a part of 12 incredible, full-length productions during my time at school and forgot what boredom was. I wrote and starred in my own play: Eve and Adam (But It's The End of The World). I was a Haunted Pub Crawl Tour Guide and loved exploring the historic, picturesque streets. I am nostalgic for a time that was a couple of months ago. 

Now, I am an actor, singer, dancer, and writer living in New York City. I love it here so far. In my free time right now, I like to window-shop, play Bananagrams, and sing karaoke. Thanks for reading, and I hope to meet you soon.
